The Story

Hot Bot launched $HOTBOT on ClawPump five hours before the AnsemHack Clawrena's tokenize deadline and sat near a $3.4K market cap for five and a half hours. Thirty-six minutes after the deadline passed it broke out, graduated from the pump.fun curve eleven minutes later, and went on to touch $9.19M. On 16 October it was named one of the hackathon's two top winners: $20,000 in cash and 30% of the $ANSEM prize pool.

Hot Bot is a private trading team for Solana memecoin traders. Four specialist bots, a ResearchBot, a SniperBot, a TraderBot and a LaunchBot, work together under a strategy the user sets, with Hot Bot coordinating them. Its litepaper, dated 30 September 2026, opened with 100 private invites. The founders, @elijahintek and @0xWhoismax, built it on ClawPump.

The Clawrena gave teams until midnight EST on 1 October, 05:00 UTC on 2 October, to register and get a token live. Hot Bot created $HOTBOT at 23:59:50 UTC on 1 October, five hours before the cutoff, registered eight minutes later, and posted its entry at 02:09 UTC.

Then almost nothing happened. For five and a half hours the bonding curve saw 28 successful transactions and about $1,300 of volume, and the market cap stayed between $3,336 and $4,068, close to where every pump.fun token starts.

At 05:36 UTC, 36 minutes after the deadline, it moved. $HOTBOT crossed a $10K market cap at 05:37 and $40K at 05:42, and graduated from the curve to PumpSwap at 05:47, five hours and 47 minutes after launch. Within the 06:00 hour it traded as high as $818K, and it crossed $1M for the first time that evening.

With only the last week of the competition's fee window left, $HOTBOT still generated 743 SOL of creator fees between 2 and 8 October, the second-highest of any entry, behind SelfMade by SP3ND, which had been trading since August. It set its all-time high of $9.19M on 10 October, and MCG hosted the founders on 15 October.

ClawPump announced the winners on 16 October, a week later than planned. Hot Bot, listed for agentic swarm trading, took $20,000 in cash and 30% of the 0.1% of $ANSEM supply set aside for the hackathon, the same award as SelfMade by SP3ND. By 20 October $HOTBOT had traded $26M since launch and collected 1,124 SOL of creator fees.

Why It Matters

Hot Bot is the case for building first and tokenizing last. The token was the final step of a product that already existed, and a launch that sat flat for its first five hours is now the largest token of the competition by market cap.
